Vegetables from own cultivation
The vegetable cultivation at the organic farm Stechaubauer started on a small scale and has been continuously expanded with the increasing demand. In addition to dairy cattle farming with its own breeding, it developed into another branch of the business.
The organic farm Stechaubauer cultivates potatoes on 3 ha and open-field vegetables on 1.8 ha. An additional approx. 1,000 m² is available for vegetable cultivation in plastic houses and tunnels. The majority of the harvest is sold directly from the farm.
Organic eggs from mobile chicken coops
Since January 2012, the organic farm Stechaubauer has continuously expanded its laying hen operation. The hens are kept in mobile chicken coops. Their organic eggs complement the offer from vegetable cultivation and are also mostly sold directly from the farm.
Dairy farming and delivery
The milk from the farm's own dairy cattle farming is delivered to Pinzgau Milk in Maishofen. In addition to direct sales from the farm, the farm supplies individual large kitchens, schools, restaurants, and resale businesses, as well as a toddler group with vegetables and eggs.
