To make sure that you won't miss out on anything at the Out of Bounds Festival, we have put together a list of how your perfect day could look like!
What to bring:
- Friends and/or family
- Good humor
- Sturdy footwear
09.30 am - Arrive at Asitz Valley Station
The first thing you should do is go to the cable car InfoPoint. Our colleague Stefan will give you the most important information and answer any questions you might have. Get a combi-ticket, which includes your festival ticket plus a ticket for the cable car. And don’t forget to grab a program folder, which features a timetable and a lot more.
10.00 am - Team & Expo Area
Now it’s time to familiarise yourself with the festival site. In the Team & Expo Area, you can get an exclusive look behind the scenes of professional mountain bike sports. Watch the riders get ready and see how the mechanics fine-tune the bikes. A quick chat with one of the sport’s stars wouldn’t be bad, would it?
11.00 am - Now it's time to hit the mountain
Climb aboard the Asitz gondola lift and ride up to the start of the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Cup (at the middle station). From here you can make your way on foot back to the finish line. Make sure you wear sturdy footwear, especially in bad weather! Along the course, you can watch the kings and queens of downhill hurtle fearlessly down the mountainside from up close. There is a good chance that they will leave you gaping and that you will soon start to cheer loundly to push the riders.
02.30 pm - Hike is over - back to the finish area
The finish area offers a range of fascinating things to experience, with different events every day. Here is a taste of what is on offer: Signing sessions in the Expo Area, spectacular freestyle motocross shows, open-air concert & many parties, competitions for you to join in and much more.
On the final day, don’t forget to return to the finish area in time for the showdown of the Top 20 Elite Men riders. The final stretch will be really exciting and the atmosphere among the passionate fans will give you goose bumps!
Tip!
Tell your friends, who won't make it to Saalfelden Leogang, that they can watch the World Cup live on ServusTV or Red Bull TV.
That way, they can at least cheer on the riders from the couch at home!
