Speech in German language: topic climate change
Current global warming is one of the greatest challenges of our time and affects all of us – globally, nationally, and regionally. Tourism is already being significantly impacted by climatic changes, and it is to be expected that both winter and summer tourism will require adjustments. The event series “Future with a View – Sustainable Tourism in Times of Climate Change” is dedicated to these developments and explores how climate change is concretely affecting tourism in the Alpine region. Experts provide insights into current findings, highlight regional impacts, and discuss the questions that tourism regions will increasingly have to address in the future.
