Duo Valcic Preuschl
Austria
Asja Valcic - cello
Raphael Preuschl – bass ukulele
Starts with velvet, ends with velvet: after "Velvet Revolution" on Friday evening, the duo of cellist Asja Valcic, who used to be heard with accordionist Klaus Paier, and bass ukulele player Raphael Preuschl will present their program "Velvet" on the third jazz day. The sounds of this chamber music duo, which has been in existence for five years already and whose compositions range from "Timeless" to "Madness" to "Désir" and "Trance", are warm, earthy and, above all, deep. The two string instrumentalists sometimes fascinate in unison, sometimes they accompany each other on solo flights of fancy, "sometimes tender and intimate, sometimes passionate and virtuosic, the result is as velvety as the title suggests."
Experience the concerts in Leogang by public transport! The bus (Line 690) departs from Saalfelden Postplatz at 9:15 am and arrives at Leogang Hütten at 9:34 am. At 10 am, visitors have the opportunity to take part in a free guided tour of the Leogang Mining and Gothic Museum. Please note that there is a charge for the bus ride. The return journey is also possible by public bus at 15:54.
The Gasthof Hüttwirt next door will also be open on this day, where you can enjoy refreshments between the concerts and also meet up with the artists and performers for a final drink afterwards.
