The genre in which the Bluesbrauser operate is their own. Because with the Pongau band, wordplay in dialect peppered with self-irony and hidden malice not only meets rolling, transparent blues, but also lively, cheeky folk music. Musical delicacies, stories and tales are performed with virtuosity in the Pongau dialect by musicians with heart and soul. Jürgen Stummer on drums picks on the one, percussionist Bernd Barkmann supports him in a versatile way, Manuel Schwarzkogler celebrates playing the harmonica, Georg Gruber knocks out one crazy guitar solo after another and frontman and mastermind Alexander Reicher is one thing above all: a gifted performer.
