All about mountain biking in September

Held every September, the Biketember Festival in Saalfelden Leogang is about celebrating mountain bike sport in all its forms and includes the iXS European Downhill Cup Final, the SCOTT Junior Trophy for young bikers and a varied supporting program. Spectacular racing action and pure adrenaline are guaranteed for riders and spectators alike.

Aside from the competitions there are also many other things to discover. In the Team & Expo Area you can take a look behind the scenes and also check out and test the latest products from our exhibitors. The Ö3 Disco in the event hall of the Leogang mountain railways has been a fixed part of the festival for years and should not be missed on Saturday evening. This time with cool beats from the deep house duo DEEPEND from the Netherlands. More side events to participate in are also on the agenda again.

Special highlight will be the finale of this year’s iXS European Downhill Cup. On Sunday, September 17, from 12.30pm, it will be all about action, adrenaline and speed when the best European downhill athletes will fight for all-deciding points for the season ranking at Bikepark Leogang. Who will take the crown? Will last year’s winners – Slawomir Lukasik (POL) and Veronika Widmann (ITA) – be able to repeat in their respective victories? And who will become the iXS European Downhill Cup Champion in Leogang?
