Unique Downhill Camp with World Cup Champion Aaron Gwin
Countless stories have taken place in the course of the World Cup in Saalfelden Leogang, but none succeeded in putting the stamp on the event as sustainably as the American Aaron Gwin. But how does the five-time overall World Cup winner reach the top in Saalfelden Leogang year after year? The answer to this question will be given to Aaron Gwin this year as part of the three-day (G)winning Downhill Camp right after the Mercedes-Benz UCI Downhill World Cup in Saalfelden Leogang!
DAY 1 - MONDAY, 10.06.
- Arrival of the camp participants followed by a Meet & Greet with Aaron Gwin in the evening
DAY 2 - TUESDAY, 11.06.
- Morning Session:
Warm up und Riding Technique / Skill Session
- Lunch
- Afternoon Session:
Individual technical coaching and finding self-confidence and speed through the right technique. First introduction to the topic Line Choice.
- Track Walk:
We take the last gondola lift on this day for a track walk in the style of a World Cup for the start of the 'Speedster'. Providing tips for finding lines, line choice in general and intro for mental race preparation.
- Dinner
- Evening Session:
Video review of camp participants with feedback from Aaron Gwin. Physical and mental race preparation including training, nutrition, bike set-up and the right approach.
DAY 3 - WEDNESDAY, 12.6.
- Morning Session:
Implementation of the individual feedback under the guidance of Aaron Gwin. Practical implementation of the lines defined in the Track Walk.
- Lunch
- Afternoon Session:
Coaching on the right approach to big / challenging features (jumps, drops, transfers, etc.) followed by biking with all participants and individual assistance.
- BBQ and goodbye of the unique (G)winning camp
