Musikkapelle Leogang

The Musikkapelle Leogang was founded in 1890 by teacher Peter Höll. Since then, no more than nine bandmasters have had musical responsibility. Four long-term bandmasters have served together for 110 years. Since 2020, Sebastian Tribuser has once again been a young bandmaster from the orchestra's own ranks.

The Musikkapelle Leogang currently has 69 active musicians, 5 sutlers and 4 honorary members. 20 members are under 20 years old. Around 20 young musicians are currently in training. The chairman is Franz Zehntner. Due to the historical importance of mining in Leogang, the Leogang band wears a Pinzgau hunter's costume as well as a miner's costume.
