With just over five weeks to go, Saalfelden Leogang will once again be all about: two wheels - one passion. The bike region in SalzburgerLand is hosting the BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang for the 6th time. What's on offer? Testing, workshopping, guiding and lots of side events - for die-hard bike fans, beginners, e-bikers, outdoor enthusiasts and families alike.
Numerous exhibitors - 100 brands - a full insight into the 2025 trends
Once again this year, a large expo area will provide an extensive look at the latest trends in bikes and equipment. Numerous exhibitors and 100 brands will be providing information on these days at the Expo area in the Epic Bikepark Leogang. And anyone interested in a new toy on two wheels will also have the opportunity to get on the bike and try out their favorite test bike on the trails. All trails and facilities in the EPIC Bikepark Leogang will be in operation this weekend, so there are no restrictions for visitors.
Workshops with pros and tours with guides show you where to go
If you want to cut a really good figure on the trails and take your riding fun to the extreme, you should put your name down on the registration list for one of the Bike Academy's workshops and tours, which take place over the three days of the festival. You can talk shop with like-minded people, riding technique coaches and prominent stars of the bike scene about the right braking time, the optimum steering technique and the ideal line over the World Cup course. For example, you can join Stefan Schlie for e-mountain bike technique training for beginners, Marlena Neißl for a women's downhill session, Elias Schwärzler for a rookie bike ride or Joost Wichman, the World Champion on the pump track, for a pump track workshop. Dirt and trail biker Lukas Knopf shows participants the ideal line on the Hot Shots fired by GoPro. Those who want to follow in the footsteps of the World Cup riders can do so with none other than downhill pro David Trummer. Big bike passion on small wheels
But the BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang doesn't just offer a full program for adult bike fans. In addition to beginner riding technique training with Jan Timmermann, youngsters aged five to 17 can have fun pumping around in circles on the Scott Junior Trophy Pump Track. In addition, the VPACE Kids Cup offers first experiences in downhill racing. The mini-race series for ages five to ten sends the youngsters into a race against time on a simple downhill track. Of course, the focus is always on fun and action and biking together with friends.
Other hands-on events such as yoga sessions, bike trail shows and signing sessions round off the festival program. And not to forget: On Saturday evening, it's "Party on!" at the festival party with DJ Max Teaser.
