This event has already taken place.An atmospheric Christmas market and one of the oldest mines in Salzburger Land invite you to the picturesque Schwarzleotal in Leogang on the third weekend of Advent.
At the contemplative and romantic Advent market, there are homemade delicacies for young and old, children can roast their own bread on the campfire and take part in a fun painting competition. The stalls offer all kinds of homemade goods, genuine handicrafts and lovingly selected gift ideas. There will also be a musical programme: Weisenbläser and a traditional "Hirtenspiel" will bring good luck and blessings and put visitors in the mood for the Christmas season with their festive songs and poems.
The "Hirtenspiel" takes place on Saturday, 5.30 p.m.
The entrance to the christmas market is FREE!
The exhibition mine will also open its doors this weekend. Following in the footsteps of the old miners, visitors can explore the hand-cut tunnels and learn about the historical methods of ore mining. The exciting gallery tours are rounded off by contemplative readings and festive music. The tours take place twice daily, at 13:00 and 15:30 and can be booked in advance online. The cost of the tour is €25 per adult & €15 for children aged 8-18.
